Ask an OSO Video

I interviewed Marine Corps officer Capt Stoddard, who is the Officer Selection Officer (OSO) for OSS Saint Louis today.

We covered the top questions received on the blog and in our facebook page. Feel free to connect with either of us in Sandboxx as well.

Note: we shot an hour of supplemental footage, containing advice exclusively available to future Marine Officers in the Sandboxx app. Check it out by downloading for iOS or android.

Check out the video below to hear her advice on the following:

  • What are the top reasons why candidates fail at OCS?
  • What specific advice does she have for female officer candidates?
  • How can you make your application look stronger than your competition?
  • How early should you talk to an OSO?
  • What advice does she have for training for the PFT?

As always, if you have more questions, ask them on this site or to our social media.
